OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES OF GRADUATES

Graduates’ main job opportunities will be with banks and non-bank financial institutions. However, the many opportunities among non-bank financial institutions include insurance companies, securities houses and the risk management departments of large organisations. In addition to these sectors, our graduates will be eligible for employment in the relevant departments (particularly insurance and risk management) of Ministry of Finance, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Capital Markets Board, Borsa Istanbul, public and private banks and several public institutions and consultancy firms. There are potentially a wide range of positions available, including risk analyst, risk manager, insurance expert, financial analyst, auditor, portfolio manager and analyst. Students who graduate from the Insurance and Risk Management Program automatically fulfil the minimum education and experience level required for the insurance agency managers (Communiqué published in the Official Gazette on 22 April 2014, n.28980).
